Easter Greetings from the University Librarian – Wishing you strength and success in your exams

Dear UNIBEN Students,

As you continue writing your first semester examinations, I extend warm Easter greetings to each of you on behalf of the entire University Library staff.

Easter is a season of hope, renewal and victory. It is a powerful reminder that after sacrifice comes triumph, and after every challenge comes a new dawn. I understand that many of you are currently navigating the pressures of examinations, sleepless nights and anxious moments. Yet, like the enduring spirit of Easter, I encourage you to press on with resilience, knowing that your labour will soon yield testimonies of success.

The Library shall be open from Tuesday 7 July 2026 after the public holiday, and it remains committed to supporting you as a hub for quiet study, a treasure house of knowledge, and a partner in your academic journey. As you face each paper, draw strength from the words of old: “This too shall pass.” Rise each morning with the assurance that your efforts are not in vain.

May the peace, joy and hope of the Risen Lord calm your hearts, sharpen your focus, and guide your pens. I wish you clear minds, retentive memories, and the grace to excel in all your remaining examinations.

On behalf of the library staff, I wish you a blessed Easter celebration. Do take time to rest, stay hydrated, and trust in your preparation.

Professor Jane Igie Aba CLN, MNLA, TRCN
